'Don't Miss Elektra at Camden Fringe - The number one in our top ten for the rest of the Camden Fringe season!'
- Fringe Review
'It’s worth going to see this play just for the opening moments, in which Elektra (a steely Louise Coleman) is thrown bodily around the stage in a dramatic half-dance. These are stunning moments and help to position the drama as important and memorable.'
- Remote Goat
'Elektra - Verdict: Something special
The most spectacular, almost balletic, opening in which Elektra is thrown bodily (and bravely!) about the stage… this immediately marks the production down as something special.'
- Fringe Report
'A deeply affecting and highly impressive performance… the ferocity, passion and impeccable precision of the cast in this sharp and majestic production… utterly entrancing power… an astonishing achievement and hopefully there's more to come.'

A Short Swim In The Air
Louise played Valerie Morgan
Solas Theatre Company
The Pleasance, Etcetera Theatre and Teacher Club Theatre Dublin, 2008
'Louise Coleman gives a truly accomplished performance as Valerie Madigan,
the mentally-ill mother whose obsessions, hallucinations and paranoia drive her to suicide.
Always a challenge, credibility-wise, a convincing portrayal of a character suffering severe
mental illness is well within Louise Coleman's range, and in her final speech, as Valerie
contemplates her 'short swim in the air', she captures the poignancy of a disturbed person
calmly and almost lucidly taking the only escape route she can imagine... justifying sanely
the insane act she is about to commit. This is touching and skilful work.' Tara Paulson, Fringe Report
'A production of Medea stands or falls on its lead actress, of course. In Louise Coleman,
Lazarus has a Medea who is compelling, who dominates the stage from when she first emerges
through the doors... her final confrontation with Jason is visceral, physical, and violent.' Tony Keen
